Every nursing school is different. Even the required pre-requisites have slight differences that one must know and consider. The first step is to know the most pertinent required pre-nursing courses for a nursing program. In this way, one will have a clear weight on comparing different institutions. Nursing is a medical course that deals with autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities.

When we talk about medical courses, we cannot deny the fact that it is very expensive.

Taking a course that is only aligned to one’s interest can also save time and security from the possible changes of the academic year. You must prepare your application with great care to be able to study nursing in Canada or the USA. There are thousands of students applying for the same spot in different schools.

I would love to share my journey with as many people as I can and hopefully give them a guideance if they’re in the same shoes as I was. I’d love to help people through my experience and give them some easier time  during their studies, because I know, it needs commitment, passion, attention and a strong mindset to get everything.

I have been practicing as a nephrology nurse for a number of years now, I read Lynda’s Ebook and Lynda taught me how to leverage financially a jump in my income during crisis times as a staff nurse. Although I am in my youthful years, I am going to retire in my new job and I am paid more compared to the previous years I have been working as a nurse and relying on a 2% evaluation increase, Thanks to Lynda and her story I now have an increment to keep me till retirement.

I am a testimony to how I successfully graduated from nursing school with Lynda’s out of state study experience. She shared how she survived an out of state study and I took the leap of faith to do the same. I graduated and now I am practicing as a RN in Florida. I loved the city of Florida so I decided to remain there.

I struggled with good grades in nursing school from my previous college , my grades were very low and I wanted to drop out from my college . I contacted Lynda, she counseled me and recommended her book and I read through each chapter. I learnt how to transfer my credit and gained admission into another program that was more helpful through my program. Right now I am in my final semester and I made all the cut offs, still thriving till exit exam and graduation.

About the author

I have fought a good fight to achieve the life of where I am right now. It is never easy as a single snap, but it is worth my time. After visiting the USA a couple of times, I decided to migrate in 2015. It was the most challenging point in my life since I needed to know the A-Z method of studying a Nursing program in the US.

I have a degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. I had to push myself harder and decided to study again. In 2017, I enrolled at Keiser University, Daytona Beach Florida and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2019. Though learning is a life-long process, I still choose to achieve my dreams and live with them.

I believe that learning doesn’t stop there. I then began to study for a bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Anderson University, South Carolina, and graduated with Baccalaureate Science in Nursing. I am now pursuing a Masters degree in Nursing at Walden University, as a full-time scholarship fellow with the American Nurses Association. The journey was not a walk in the park, but I am grateful for the strength endowed upon me to move through the struggles and to champion as a registered nurse.
